Gallery Photo: Google Nexus Q review hardware photos

It didn’t take very long for developers to start hacking Google’s Nexus Q to run games, but mobile dev BrickSimple has created a new hack that you can actually play — and of course it’s Pong. The hack turns the Q itself into a controller, letting you use the spinning volume knob to move the paddle at the bottom of the screen. It actually looks like a solid control option for the classic game, and the team at BrickSimple have even provided the code snippet so you can try it out yourself (you can see the code at the end of the video below). While the Nexus Q will likely never become a major gaming device, this at least gives you a new way to play Pong after you get bored of using your eyes and brain as the controller.
