How to put music in Samsung Galaxy S2

Ever had problem putting music in your new Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. here is a very plain and simple solution.

Normally when you connect a regular mobile to a PC a message pops up instantly on your phone asking whether to turn mass storage on

But Samsung made you do a few extra steps to do launch Mass Storage mode. OK let me explain what you can do:

1. On your Samsung Galaxy S2, go to Settings

2. In Settings, select Wireless and network

3. Select USB utilities

4. Press the “Connect storage to PC” button

5. A message should appear saying, “USB utilities – Connect USB cable to use mass storage.”

6. Don’t press the Cancel button as you need that screen on

7. Plug your phone to the computer via USB with that message still shown

8. You should hear the charging sound and a picture of the Android robot with a USB as a hand should show up along with USB connected and a “Connect USB storage” button should show up too

9. Press the “Connect USB storage” button and it should have this circle animation where the button should have been

10. After the circle is gone, the Android robot should turn orange with the text, “USB storage in use”

11. Your computer should now be able to view all your phone’s data like a USB flash drive (go to Computer if AutoPlay doesn’t come up)

12. Make a folder called Music in your phone memory and copy and paste all your music into it

13. Once you have finished copying, go back to your phone and press the “Disconnect storage from PC button”

14. Again, the circle animation should show up and the Android robot should go back to green

15. The notification area should show messages such as “Preparing USB Storage”. It should then disappear.

16. Disconnect your USB from PC and phone

17. Once you go to the Music app, all your songs should be in there

its simple as that.
